Aye my opinion is, we are REBUILDING the team and with Shanny at the helm, hopefully we are not picking in the top 5 again anytime soon. So If we can't trade down in the 1st round, i absolutely agree we should take the BEST player available. If Berry is still on the board, then he's our guy. Would do alot for our secondary as far as coverage and would allow us to move Landry back to SS. When he was at SS and we had an elite FS in Sean Taylor, THATS when everyone was saying Landry could be a pro bowl safety. But, when u are pickin this high in the draft in all rounds, you cant afford to miss.

PS I am considerably depressed that Taylor Mays, on the majority of draft boards, is either going to the eagles or cowboys....Gonna suck cuz he is gonna develop with NFL coaching and its only a matter of time till he is smashing our receivers everytime they go across the middle

A hahahahaha, nice. I think it's safe to say the verdict is in on Taylor Mays, at least as a draft prospect.

Well Mays reminds me more of Sean Taylor than Laron Landry. Mays is near the same exact build as Taylor and is a much more natural free safety. And as you can see from the video, Hes MUCH more effective at throwing his body into ppl then Landry is. Theres a difference between a 6'4 230 lbs safety throwin his body into ppl than a 6'0 205 person. And Arguably, Taylor Mays might be faster than Landry. so more weight behind faster speed changes this scenario. Now Sean Taylor is arguably my favorite player in Redskins History, but it took him 3 years to develop into a SOLID all around FS. You think after 3 years in the league Taylor Mays, after good coaching, wont be an extremely feared safety in the NFL. All i know is, watching the videos of Sean Taylor DESTROYING Terrell Owens across the middle brought a smile to my face like nothing else can. And it will be a travesty, if any Cowboys or Eagles fans will be able to enjoy videos like this in the coming years....
