He was given the lowest possible tender, that gives you the original draft pick that the player was drafted at. They could have done the same for Campbell, but elected to show him some respect and give him a high level tender. I may be wrong, but this is how I understand it. If this is the case, you can see why he is upset. Upset to the tune off at least a couple million dollars.

If there's a conclusion to be drawn here, it's that Campbell could be in the teams plans past 2010, but Rogers almost certainly is not.
