Well you've got longer to figure that out as you still wouldn't know if JC is that guy that you can rely on. If they both end up backups why not have one that'll play 5 years or so longer and be worth more when it comes to a potential trade in a few years.

all i'm saying is if a team thinks JC is the immediate answer then i think they may give a 3rd for him.
