i agree with tryfhul - this is the sort of stuff i love seeing, SmootSmack. i'd rather read your rumors than anyone elses. I don't really have an opinion on Colon, but the Steelers offense couldnt be any more dissimilar from ours. Add to that the fact that their line really hasnt been that good, and I dont know how i feel about it. I'm not sure if Colon was part of the problem in Pittsburg or the one shining spot, but if theyre eager to move him, its not a good sign.

Rogers may have bad hands, but he's a heck of a corner otherwise. if we did the trade, i'd expect them to throw something else in to sweeten the pot. An above average starting cornerback >> a servicable RT.

I have no idea what we'd be giving up.

We inquired about both Marcus McNeill and Jermon Bushrod but both seem to have fallen by the wayside. Focus looks to now be on Brown and Colon. Some say Donald Penn as well, but I'm not so sure about that one.

Hypothetical. If Berry slips to us at 4, would you trade Landry for Brown and draft Berry? Or would you rather hold onto Landry and draft Okung?

Thats a tough one, but I'll take Okung. Actually I would take a trade for Brown and draft Okung. Then try to Atowge from St. Louis.

Isn't today the deadline for RFAs to sign the tender offer? If not today, isn't this coming up soon?

Redskins Insider - What happens if Rogers, McIntosh don't sign tenders?

No, they have 10 weeks from the start of FA to do that. I think that the deadline here is for teams to send an offer sheet.

Right, this is the last day they can sign an offer sheet from another team. Up until today they could have in a sense dictated where they would play next year. Now the Redskins hold the power

this is when i thank god that i dont have to make decisions like this.

i would say i would take landry/okung and hope that #30 will perform better under our new coaching staff/scheme/etc.

I don't get all the hype surround the RFA contracts being signed at the last minute. If anything it seems like nothing more then a formality.

I was referring to someone saying that we should get Otogwe. If he signs the tender then he's in contract with the Rams, that would mean that he would be only available via a trade, correct?

Berrys not worth being taken at 4. i just dont get the love for him. personnaly, i'd trade Landry for Brown, Rogers for Colon and a pick, trade down from 4 with SF and draft Spililer and Iupati. i'd view him as a left guard and future LT project and try to trade dockery for a late round pick.

Brown/Iupati/Rabach/Hicks/Colon

Actually, if i had more time to think about it, i'd probably come up with something different and much crazier.
