One analysts that I listen to, believes that he got away with certain deficiencies because of his athleticism. It seems also that Williams will fit better our scheme. I'm happy to have a top tackle and not betting the farm on a QB.

Not a bad pick, but Okung is much more physically strong and would've been a better pick IMO. But Williams should be solid, maybe a bit more upside than Okung in speed, mobility.

Kiper said that Williams may be the most versatile of any of the 1st round picks:

Through the workout process, both at the combine and individually with teams, he's proved himself to be perhaps the most versatile talent in the draft at any position. You're talking about a guy NFL teams believe could play virtually anywhere on the offensive line. That many believe he can develop into a solid NFL left tackle is cause for his continued rise.
