Re: Redskins 2010 Draft Class with Analysis
simple answer there, mason wasn't a second round draft pick he was a udfa, kelly on the other hand wasn't a udfa yet he wasa second round pick
if he doesn't produce this year he will be gone but you can't justify getting rid of a second rounder after one unproductive year and one injury prone year
I understand what your trying to say, Kelly was a 2nd round draft pick so obviously he has talent. Mason was an UFA which obviously means he doesn't and teams would be taking a chance on him anyway. I would counter that Mason was a good runner but his problem was he kept fumbling. Not to mention Zorn's scheme again which didn't help any of our players. If he sucked completely teams wouldn't be trying to pick him up. We picked him up. Baltimore picked him up. The Jets picked him up and actually had him on their roster for the year, not on PS. The Chargers wanted him but due to a technicality (us having a worse record) we were able to win the bid on him over them. Now he's with the Chargers. Obviously coach's see something with him. I'm just tired of waiting like the rest of you. I'm almost at that point with Kelly. I hope he has a break out year. All I'm saying is what if he doesn't? |
