Calling me ignorant on financial markets couldn't be further from the truth. I hold a graduate degree in finance and work in the field. It's you who's talking on a subject matter you don't understand.

All those companies you named, none of them had stock go to 0. So even if they were heavy into just ONE of those companies, they still wouldn't have lost ALL of their money.

Like I said, it was typical for guys to lose 40%, 50% in the market, even if investing wisely. But the only way you can lose all your money in the market is if you invested foolishly.
