Re: Washington Capitals: 2010 post-season transactions
I wonder how they're going to approach the team this offseason. According to CapGeek.com it seems that they're in position to bring in a lot of talent from Hershey. Guys like Perrault and Bouchard. Maybe even Beagle. Then of course you have Neuvy and Alzner coming up full time. We know that Carlson's now a lock to make the roster.
Fehr and Flash are now young players with a bit more potential but are at the point where they are definitely NFL caliber players. They're going to most likely sign Schultz to an RFA contract. Knubble obviously stays. The wildcards right now are the two Center/Wings in Johanson and Gustafon. Based on the recent news it seems like they're more excited about Johanson then they are Gustafon. Anyway the point is how they develop will have a pretty strong impact on the Caps offseason strategy. I wonder what their plan is on Brendon Morrison. So with that said here's my early prediction for the Caps Lineup Ov-Backs-Knubble Semin-Flash-Fehr Laich-Berlanger-Gustafon Bradley-Steckle-Chimera Schultz-Green Alzner-Carlson Sloan-Poti Varly Neuvy And to those wondering apparently Berlanger is the only trade deadline player they plan on resigning.
