Like Firstdown said, the spending approvals come from Congress, plus whoever conveniently drew this put McCain on there after W instead of the current President, who's out of control spending has us facing a deficit larger than Reagen, H.W., and W. combined. Our deficit is currently about 10% of the GDP. That's scary as hell.

I suppose we can give Bush credit for all the spending that went on when the GOP had control of both chambers for 6 years. I know you lot like to wiggle and weasel but a face isn't going to cut it. Also, I forgot the Democratic congress were the ones that spend all that money fighting the cold war and won it, and invaded Iraq in the early 90's. Thanks for reminding me.
