Ok. I am coming strong here. I am going to go out on a limb here and predict. 7-9 to
13-3 winning the division, and fighting for homefield advantage all the way till the end of the regular season.

BTW I love that video. The start of training camp can not get here fast enough, and I always fell like a kid at Christmas when the PreSeason and Regular Season start. Some times I cannot sleep well with anticipation.

I'm not interested in making an accurate prediction on Wins and Losses, because the reality is there is a very fine line between winning and losing in the NFL. That's why every year you see teams go from 5-11 or 6-10 to 10-6 or 11-5 and into the playoffs. Just a few changes here and there, a few breaks go your way, a healthy player here or there where there was an injury the year before... that's all it takes to have a somewhat successful season.

I can say I'm pretty confident we're not among the elite in the NFL yet. I can say pretty confidently that we're not horrible like we were under Vinny & Zorn. From there, it's anybody's guess on which side of mediocre we finish. Instead of trying to predict, just enjoy the uncertainty that is the NFL.

Yeah teams go worst to first every year it seems, and there's always a bunch of new playoff teams. Clearly with the moves we've made Shanahan plans on turning things around quickly.

watching sportscenter this morning, they had drew brees on. did he get his birthmark on the side of his face removed or was that just makeup for tv concealing it some? i always liked that while he surely has enough money for cosmetic surgery, he didnt bother with superficial things like a birthmark.

As a kid, I got teased a lot because of a distinguishing birthmark on my right cheek. My mom and dad used to tell me that was where an angel had kissed me, but the kids at school didn't quite see it that way. They used to tease me and take jabs at me in the classroom and on the playground, saying things like "What happened to your face?" or "Wipe that stuff off your face." I couldn't help but get in a few scraps over it.

When I was little, the pediatrician gave my parents the option of having it removed because there was a chance it could become cancerous, but in spite of all the harassment I took at school, I decided to keep it. Instead of seeing it as a bad thing, I chose to see it as something that made me unique and special. It set me apart from everyone else. In a way, it became my trademark.

Looking back, I guess it might have been smarter to remove it, because why take a chance on it becoming cancerous? I even had it biopsied a few years ago, and I still see the dermatologist every once in a while to make sure it's okay, but now it's just a part of who I am. I wouldn't consider cutting off my arm. Neither would I cut off my birthmark. If I had ever been forced to remove it, I would have been devastated. My good friends who have known me a long time say they don't even see it anymore. If I had it removed, they would notice, but now they don't see it at all. They just see me.

(All that said though, I thought he did have it removed and now there was a scar there. Not sure)
