They are a premium seat, like box seats or suites. Clubs seats are 3x the cost compared to 100, 200, and 400 level seats. You can walk up to will call on game day and buy club tickets. They have never been sold out in the traditional sense.

If other stadiums have a "Club" equivalent, they do not count against sellouts either.

Yankee Stadium(the real one) and Giants Stadium (the Demolished one)both had club seats....actualy Yankee Stadium had box seats and a Stadium club but in both cases they counted towards the sellouts.Only thing I know of that has never been counted were Luxury boxs.
