The new and improved Haynesworth thread

Lets not get too excited just yet. From most recent RI article you linked:

Shanahan, asked Wednesday about his conversation with Haynesworth, said it "went well." He said of Haynesworth: "He's here, he's ready to go."

But when asked whether Haynesworth will be a Redskin this season, he said: "We'll see."

Up until now, Shanahan has said unconditionally that Haynesworth would be a Redskin. Now that Haynesworth is finally showing up and trying to be a good soldier, Shanahan is uncertain whether Haynesworth will be a part of the team. If we look at everything from the past couple days except Shanahahan's comment, everything seems hunkydory. however, that comment opens the possibility that all the "positive" things we are seeing from Haynesworth could merely be a charade orchestrated between the Redskins and Haynesworth to make Haynesworth more attractive to other teams. If he's no longer concieved as a malcontent, he'd certainly have more value.
