Re: Haynesworth fails conditioning test
Well its obvious why you didn't understand who this greatness he was speaking of, classic case of Fleli itis.... Now if was a little more specific in his terminology even you could have had a chance to understand... "LORD" Favre ring a bell?

Re: Haynesworth fails conditioning test
Am I the only one that doesn't consider being able to do 600 (or 900) yard shuttle run as being equivalent to football shape for a DT? I keep hearing Haynesworth isn't in football shape; then someone mentions a shuttle run. Lets get him in pads and see if he can shed blockers in a 10 yard (max) run. That's football shape.
Honestly, I think that Albert could have done more -- but lets not confuse a DT doing shuttle runs vs. football shape. I'm curious how many along our DL could do this drill. Both sides made mistakes. Haynesworth seems to have bought in. Lets get this done, get him on the field, and let Haynesworth add his presence to the front 3.

By the way, I've never been a fan of the term "football shape." It reminds me of Bobby Knight trying to understand "game face." That said, *anyone* in the league should be able to do this IMO. If you can't run 300 yards, then you can't play an entire game of football IMO. When did running at football practice become taboo?
