Re: 2010 Redskins Schedule Leaks

Now let me breakdown why I have the NFC East records as they are.
Starting with Dallas. I have them going 6-10.

Most people would see this as crazy, but I don't and here's why.

They have no idea what to expect from us on opening day and i see Shanny and Bruce Allen wanting to make a statement early on.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
They should beat the bears at home and I think they will. But I also believe this will be a very good season for the Bears imo. I see them greatly improved over last season. None-the-less..it's at dallas and they won't be happy with us beating them opening night.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This is the shocker that's start their downfall imo....A loss at the Texans. A very good high octane offense with weapons. Sure, they don't have Kyle, but they will still be a dangerous team to play in Texas. I smell an upset here..
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Bye week here and the only NFC East team with one this early. Not a good start with a 1-2 record going in.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Cowboys get a tough game here, but win it at home against the titans.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Brett's back and the Vikings can and will beat the Cowboys here. specially at Minny.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Cowboys win here at home against Giants.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Cowboys get another win here against the jags and at home. This is when things start to fall apart on the cowboys who would be 4-3 at this point.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
They get green bay and the Giants on the road back-to-back and I believe they lose them both.
It's also going to get colder this season in early November and dallas facing 2 good teams in the cold at their house spells doom for the cowboys imo)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Then they get to come back home for thanksgiving against the lions at home. probably a fun game to watch and wouldn't be suprised to see an upset here, but I have Dallas winning here.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Then they get back to back games against the saints @home and the Colts on the road. I think the saints can take a victory from Dallas and the Colts are deadly at home.
2 absolutely brutal games. Not to mention only having 5 wins with 4 games to go,will have a Psychological affect on the Cowboys and the pressure they are under. And we know how the cowboys are known to pack in the season, when it's over. right?
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I do think they take out their frustration against the eagles that next week...
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
But then they face a hot redskins team at home and lose...and realize the season is over after a devastating loss to their rivals and pack it in....
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Then have to finish out the season at Arizona and at Philly and lose going 6-10...

So that's what I have for dallas and why...

Other 3 coming soon...

Re: 2010 Redskins Schedule Leaks

Sadly, I've been traumatized often enough to be cynical about predicting season sweeps of the Dallas Foulboys, although it would be nice for Shanahan to win his first game against the 'Boys just like He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Name and George Allen.

LOL @ 14-2. How can I travel to the world you live in? Is there some kind of a hand seal that gets you there or will day dreaming suffice?

Re: 2010 Redskins Schedule Leaks

here's the eagles..

EAGLES 2010 REGULAR SEASON SCHEDULE
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Week 1-- Sept. 12: Green Bay at Eagles, 4:15 p.m. Fox
(LOSS...Packers just too much)
Week 2-- Sept. 19: Eagles at Detroit, 1 p.m. Fox
(WIN...Closer than expected, but eagles take it)
Week 3-- Sept. 26: Eagles at Jacksonville, 4:05 p.m. Fox
(LOSS...Eagles let one get away)
Week 4-- Oct. 3: Washington at Eagles, 4:15 p.m. Fox
(LOSS...Riots start breaking out after this one)
Week 5-- Oct. 10: Eagles at San Francisco, 8:20 p.m. NBC
(LOSS...Eagles get hammered against a up&coming Niners team)
Week 6-- Oct. 17: Atlanta at Eagles, 1 p.m. FOX
(WIN...Eagles upset Falcons team)
Week 7-- Oct. 24: Eagles at Tennessee , 1 p.m. Fox
(LOSS...Fisher puts it to the eagles)
Week 8-- Oct. 31: Bye week
(needed here, but won't help this BRUTAL finish line)
Week 9-- Nov. 7: Indianapolis at Eagles, 4:15 p.m. CBS
(LOSS...Manning shreds the eagles)
Week 10-- Nov. 15: Eagles at Washington, 8:30 p.m. ESPN
(LOSS...Monday night embarrassing thumping)
Week 11-- Nov. 21: NY Giants at Eagles, 8:20 p.m. NBC
(LOSS...Eagles thumped again)
Week 12-- Nov. 28: Eagles at Chicago, 1 p.m. FOX
(LOSS...Bears show up this season)
Week 13-- Dec. 2: Houston at Eagles, 8:20 p.m. NFL Network
(WIN...Eagles knock off Texans in close one)
Week 14-- Dec. 12: Eagles at Dallas, 8:20 p.m. NBC
(LOSS...Kolb has terrible game)
Week 15-- Dec. 19: Eagles at NY Giants, 8:20 p.m. NBC
(LOSS...Giants pound eagles again)
Week 16--Dec. 26: Minnesota at Eagles, 1 p.m. FOX
(LOSS...Vikings beat up on Eagles team)
Week 17-- Jan. 2: Dallas at Eagles, 1 p.m.m FOX
(WIN...Eagles steal a game here cause Dallas packs it in)
4-12 & Andy Reid resigns)

I think Philly will be caught off guard early at home against the packers...

i have them beating Detroit and losing to jacksonville, but could have easily flipped these 2 outcomes.
Both are on the road.

mcnabbs debut in Philly is going to be fun and ugly..lol
And probably start riots early..

Then they have the luxury of facing the niners on the road...

Then the falcons come to Philly...I think they upset the falcons here.

Then they travel to the titans...and lose
Then they draw the bye week.

Then it gets ugly from here.

They get the Colts,Redskins and Giants in consecutive order...
They travel to washington of the 3.

Then they get a Bears team on the road.

i do think they come back and beat the texans at home the following week.

Then they get dallas, giants and vikings in consecutive weeks.
Vikings game at home though...They lose all 3 imo...

Then they finish the season at home against a demoralized Cowboys team with a victory...

Re: 2010 Redskins Schedule Leaks

GIANTS 2010 REGULAR SEASON SCHEDULE
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Sunday, 9/12 1:00 PM ET FOX vs. Panthers
(WIN...Giants always open at home with victory)
Sunday, 9/19 8:20 PM ET NBC @ Colts
(LOSS...Big brother shows why he's a HOFer)
Sunday, 9/26 1:00 PM ET CBS vs. Titans
(WIN...Good game, but Eli gets it done)
Sunday, 10/3 8:20 PM ET NBC vs. Bears
(WIN...Another good game, but bears lose a close one)
Sunday, 10/10 1:00 PM ET FOX @ Texans
(LOSS...Texans play very well at home)
Sunday, 10/17 1:00 PM ET FOX vs. Lions
(WIN...Poor Lions...)
Monday, 10/25 8:30 PM ET ESPN @ Cowboys
(LOSS...Giants lose this one on the road)
Sunday, 10/31 BYE
Sunday, 11/7 4:05 PM ET FOX @ Seahawks
(LOSS...Seattle tough at home and show why, although a mediocre team)
Sunday, 11/14 4:15 PM ET FOX vs. Cowboys
(WIN...Giants redeem themselves in a big win)
Sunday, 11/21 8:20 PM ET* NBC @ Eagles
(WIN...Giants blast the terrible eagles)
Sunday, 11/28 1:00 PM ET* CBS vs. Jaguars
(WIN...Jags just don't have enough)
Sunday, 12/5 1:00 PM ET* FOX vs. Redskins
(LOSS...Giants lose what's normally an automatic win in NY)
Sunday, 12/12 1:00 PM ET* FOX @ Vikings
(LOSS...Giants just overmatched against powerful Vikings)
Sunday, 12/19 1:00 PM ET* FOX vs. Eagles
(WIN...Giants pound the eagles big time)
Sunday, 12/26 4:15 PM ET* FOX @ Packers
(LOSS...Giants run out of steam at the end)
Sunday, 1/2 1:00 PM ET* FOX @ Redskins
(LOSS...Skins put the hurtin' on the Giants)
8-8

The giants always open with a victory..we should know. They've beat us the last 2 seasons straight at their OLD stadium on opening day. They beat Panthers

Then @ colts..loss

I think they beat both the Titans and Bears at home going 3-1

I think they lose at the Texans the following week.

and win against the Lions next...

Lose to Seattle who are always tough at home.

They win 3 in a row against the cowboys, eagles and jags here...

Lost to the redskins and Vikings...

Beat the eagles

Then face the packers and redskins on the road.
i think they lose them both in tough losses and probably keeps them out of the playoffs.

it's very likely the redskins and Giants finale could depend on the Giants Playoff situation.
But I have them at 8-8 and 2nd place NFC East finishers.

(WIN...Jags just don't have enough weapons)
Sunday, Jan. 2 New York Giants 1 p.m. ET* FOX
(WIN...Skins finish out season on high note)
14-2

I have us going 14-2 for the very simple reason of...I love the way the schedule sets up for us.

We have our easiest games on theroad and our toughest at home as far as conference and non-confrence games.

i think the colts are the team to beat in the south and we got them at home.
I think the Texans and Titans are very close to each other as far as tough opponents. (titans a little better) Which is why I have us losing to the titans as 1 of our losses on the road.

We have both the packers and Vikings at home...
Bears on the road...our other only loss.

What am i saying? if Shanny can take care of buisness at our house....our toughest games on the road are the bears, titans and that's it. (besides the NFC east teams)

I think we are better than the Rams,Lions and jags easily...and will beat them
Shanahan will have us beat teams we are supposed to beat. This is no longer the old regime redskins.

I guess what I'm saying is...if I off on record wise...it's because we dropped some games on the road against the cowboys, giants and eagles perhaps.

But i love the schedule layout though.

But that's why they play the games...you just never know..lol
