Anyway, as I understand Banks isn't a lock by any means. But he really impressed this past weekend with his ability to contribute on special teams without the ball in his hands

Clearly not by his tackling but unless he craps the bed or get injured in the next 2 weeks he seems like a classic Shanahan end of the roster guy who ends up making an impact.
