Re: Lets keep things into perspective and not panic people!
Another positive to see from this loss...
I HATE losing to the Rams, but I would rather lose to a team, that most likely will not make the playoffs, than lose the tie-breaker on a team in another conference because they too are 9-7 or 10-6. Not saying the Rams can't make the Playoffs in the crappy NFC West, but most likely they would have to win the division, since I see only 1 team out of that conference making the Playoffs anyways...the division winner. So it's almost better to lose to the rams who have no shot at the playoffs, than like say....The Bears or even the Bucs maybe? See what I mean. So if we were to lose say the lions and rams but beat the Bucs and Bears or even packers for that matter... We could possibly get a wildcard if say we were 9-7 and the Bears were 9-7,but we get in because of a head-to-head victory.... Other than a conference loss hurting us...if we regroup and go 9-7 or 10-6...we don't have to worry about losing a tiebreaker to a 6-10 rams team for that last 6th seed.. See what I mean? I guess what I'm saying is....In the NFL,it's almost better to lose against the real bad teams, than to lose to 9-7..10-6 playoff contenders in your own conference..do to the head-to-head playoff elimination process. That's all...
