R.I.P. Greg Giraldo
Comedian, 'Last Comic Standing' Judge Greg Giraldo Dead at Age 44
Some of you might not know who he is but he was one of my favorite stand up comedians. I saw him live at the DC Improv last year when he came to town and I love his standup. I also love the roasts he did on Comedy Central, he was a frequent contributor to those over the years. I actually got to meet him after he did standup at the DC Improv and he was totally cool, he took a picture with me and autographed his c.d. Good Day to Cross a River for me. I can't believe he's dead, although he has had his addictions over the years. R.I.P. Greg Giraldo. |

Yeah, he was my favorite on the Comedy Central roasts. That show won't be the same without him. Also thought he was by far the best judge on Last Comic Standing...funny dude. Sorry he had such problems that apparently cost him his life. He left a family as well I've read.

Oh man, I'm sorry to hear this. I've seen him on TV a thousand times and caught him at the DC Improv a few years ago. We will be missed.

Re: R.I.P. Greg Giraldo
wow...I really liked him as a comedian. He was really coming into his own too. I still say a few of his sayings...like "I would gladly take a c*ck to the ass if you would just shut the eff up". haha.

Yea this is a sad loss. My Brother is a comedy show producer and was a close friend of his over the past 7 years. You can read an article he wrote today on his website @ Cringe Humor.com.

Addiction claims another victim. He was way too young to go.
