Hoping that the Bears can avoid the usual MNF let down tonight!

Eh, I would have never heard of Hodge if he wasn't on ESPN.

Merrill Hoge was an excellent contributor to the '70's Steelers. They were a muscle team and he was their muscle skill player on offense.

Go Bears!

Hoge didn't play in the 70's

Lol, when the Steelers were winning Super Bowls in the 70's Hodge was around 10 years old. I think you're remembering Franco Harris.

Anyway, how many prime time games are they going to show from New Meadowlands stadium? Seriously the first 5 weeks of the season have a prime time game in New York (New Jersey for the more petty among us).

Tonight we are all Bears fans.

Nope. I was not remembering Harris. I remembered Harris and Hoge in the same backfield. My bad.

So nice to watch football and not have to pace around with my heart beating out of chest. Though I obviously want the Bears to win the sense of urgency isn't nearly as great.

Could either of these offenses look crappier? God the Giants are a bad team right now.
