Re: Latest Walters article up
I believe that Troy Williamson and and Mark Clayton are no better prospects than our WRs we have now-are now. And McCants has an opportunity (if given the opportunity) to be that red zone threat Mike Williams has famed to be minus the weight control issue. There seems to be a general consensus that our CBs can get the job done for at least one more year, if need be, and we have at least one promising youngster to hold down the nickel and occasionally sub for the number two CB spot. Noble, Salavea, and Griffin missed very few games last year to injury, but Haley was waived. I imagine there will be near-starter caliber DTs available mid to late in the first round. And that should hold true for a much needed top DE who will see pleny of playing time, for Daniels often files for short term disibility. I just cannot remember if I had concerns about Pierce taking over at MLB like I do about Lemar Marshall doing the same. You'd think a guy like Nebraska's Barrett Ruud on day one or Temple's Rian Wallace on day two would be a more natural fit, but does anyone really think drafting at that position a possibility?
