Ah if only it was this easy -- Middle School Fake
This is pretty funny to watch. I wonder what the defensive line said when they caught him!

It worked so good it does not even seem fair.

That was awesome. The only thing I question is if that's a legal way to snap the ball. It's probably not outlined as "illegal" in those words...probably never tried before.
Read the comments with the whiners complaining about trickery and deception and how it's unfair. Have they EVER WATCHED FOOTBALL BEFORE? You're supposed to fool the defense. I didn't see them whining in the comments of the Randel El TD pass video from last night. "That's unfair, the QB is supposed to be the one throwing the ball!" GREAT JOB COACH AND QB. Loved his stiff-arm at the end...and laughed when his teammate was able to take him down with a celebratory bump after that great tackle-breaking.

He IS wearing #11. They can't flag that as a celebration...the play had not happened yet. Illegal shift or formation I suppose.

That coach sounds like the Lou Pinella of High School Football. Earl Weaver maybe?
Is there a football equivalent? Mike Ditka?

Re: Ah if only it was this easy -- Middle School Fake
We ran that "wrong ball" play on my little league team last year and it worked like a charm. THIS year, some team tried it on us and we devastated the QB. We told our kids the first day of practice that if at ANY POINT during a game the QB starts saying wrong ball after the center side-snapped to just kill whoever has the ball.
