Re: Brandon Banks Knee Surgery
Yeah, if it had to happen during season, it happened at just the right time. From what I know of this injury it takes 4 weeks to run hard with lateral movement, so it may be a few more games. But still looking good worse case.

Re: Brandon Banks Knee Surgery
Kind of worried about this one. The guy is a midget out there with people 2-3x his size. I'm worried this is the start of multiple injuries for him.
Hope he gets back on the field, but I also hope he stays healthy for us. |

Shanahan is saying Banks may even play on Monday night

Re: Brandon Banks Knee Surgery
If he does that would be incredible, although not totally unheard of. Truly a testament to the capabilities of modern medicine.

Wow, that would be great! Redskins Insider - Your daily source for news and commentary on the Washington Redskins, by Jason Reid
Redskins Insider - Brandon Banks: 'I kind of grew up out there' "Everything started to click," Banks said. "I feel good. I feel like every time I touch the ball, I can go the distance." I Really like this guy! |

Re: Brandon Banks Knee Surgery
Don't think we need to rush it. Let him heal, he just had surgery and his name is not Brett Favre.

Re: Brandon Banks Knee Surgery
Redskins Insider - Brandon Banks is unlikely to play against Philadelphia Eagles Seems like the same story only glass half empty. Although I very highly doubt they take the chance Monday.
"You always want your best players out there, but you don't want to lose 'em for the year as well," Shanahan said. "You do what you think is right long-term as well as short-term." |

Just saw that. I hope he doesn't re-injure himself tonight.

Re: Brandon Banks Knee Surgery
I agree with you. He was still sore during practice, so this is very surprising to me. I want the Eagles too, but not at the expense of losing Banks for the season. I guess they know what they're doing.
