Re: Clutch and Execution Problems
Quote:
Armstrong made the big sliding catch, but didn't get his head right back in the game either. He missed the next pass, a much easier grab. Right now this team is taking baby steps. This is what a rebuilding team looks like, even if it's not billed as such. We dropped 10 starters before FA We have a new RB committee We have 3 out of 5 WR's changed from last year. Oh yeah a new QB We have a new defensive alignment (right or wrong we do, and thus it is part of a rebuilding year. For those who are going to scream "BUT WE HAVE 4-3 PERSONNEL", yes but if the new coach accepted a rebuilding phase then you might as well start the defensive change now. Or would you rather get the offense going, and switch up at that point and have the offense pulled down by the defense. This team is growing up together, and hopefully next year, with some new youngbloods and some veterans that know the system we will be better on both sides of the ball.) Let's also not forget in this game, we were: missing a starting CB, a starting safety (and leading tackler I believe). (wish we had been missing our starting center )5-6 with 5 games to go. Realistically, the Skins are better than last year (playing a much harder schedule) and not as good as us fans want them to be. |
