Washington Capitals 2010-2011 ongoing thread

Ref's were a different type of awful during this game. The league owes the Caps an apology for the horrible officiating that ended up deciding the game.

For those that missed it on top of washing out what was suppose to a game tying goal the refs also called 3 consecutive penalties on the Caps (consecutive meaning the Stars had three powerplays over the course of 7 or 8 minutes in the second period). The worse one came before the second powerplay. Schultz stick was broken on a slash, without a stick Schultz checked a Stars player into the board. The slash was ignored and Schultz was called for boarding.

Thank God this was just a regular season game.
