For lack of better terms that's ****ed up. I think the important part is how will the baby feel.. will it be suffering waiting to be born or is it just not expected to last past that point if it makes it? While you always want the miracle finish you do have to wonder about that.
Best wishes with everything man, try to stay strong for your wife; I can't even imagine having a year like that.
