Before taking Brian Orakpo last year, there hasn't been a defensive linemen drafted by this team in the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, or 4th round since 1997 with Kenard Lang. It's been other teams' castoffs, free agents, or long shots taken in the 5th round or later that we've been relying on.

More proof of the defensive implosion that was bound to happen sooner or later.

You forget that Danny Boy went out and bought Dana Stubblefield and Big Daddy Wilkensen to play on the DL. And then he got Bruce Smith. And then he got Albert Haynesworth. With all that talent, who needs to draft defensive linemen? :frusty:
