Absolutely agree. I use the term "stubborn SOB" as a compliment here because he's a guy that won't pay anyone more than they are really worth. Period. He doesn't care what the name on the back of the jersey says......or at least he hasn't so far. Only time will tell I guess.

And the word around Eagle-land is that the Simon deal is all but dead. He's probably not going anywhere........of course that could change by tomorrow.

Hopefully Gibbs can instill some of that kind of "hard-assedness" in Snyder. So far, it's working. He's a showing a little restraint.

Weren't people spending so much time praising the eagles for being so fiscally responsible? Turns out they are treading the line between prudent and cheap because it seems like they have some grumbling pussies on their team now.

However, I think that's bs. I don't think they should rework TO's deal, but speaking in general, organizations don't give a damn about the ink on a contract when they want to sign an extra free agent and ask a guy to restructure. So, you reap what you sew.

I'm sure the Philly fans will be very receptive to T.O. if he sits out through training camp. Perhaps T.O. is tired of being cheered and want to take a WWE "heel" turn.

TO was fantastic last year and his play in the SB brought a new respect for the guy from me - but holding out for a new deal just 1 year in is rediculous!!!

I won't lose any sleep the longer/messier the whole situation gets though.
