Re: Bowl Game Prospects--->Future Redskins?

I'm impressed by Newton, the way he carries himself. But he's such a raw project and simply isn't polished enough to be a first day draft pick. To me he's a mid round QB talent. Very impressed with Nick Fairley too. Not sure if he can play in a 3-4 though but I'd like to get both Pouncey and Fairley.

Fairley may be the number 1 overall pick, so don't bother bringing up the idea of us getting him. And yes, he could definitely play in the 3-4, believe me. I've watched him all year, he is just one of those beast defensive lineman.

Absolutely no way I'd want Cam Newton. Like Fairley, I've watched Newton all year, and I don't see him being able to read defenses. I feel like he's a JaMarcus Russell and Vince Young put together. He, at times, looks like Ben Roethlisberger. But I don't see him being nearly as productive in the pros as he was in college.

last night in the National Championship game, he threw a pick and threw a couple other near picks. Also if he's ready so confident and cocky in himself, then why didn't he get the ball at all on the game winning drive? I'll pass on Cam Newton. Great College player, not an NFL player.
