The jury is still out on Bradford, Tebow, Troy Smith, Leinart and Palmer. Of the retired ones, only Plunkett and Staubach amounted to much in the NFL.


Touting a QB as anything close to a "sure thing" for the pros based on his winning the Heisman Trophy is not supported by data.

Flutie was a winner when he started in Buffalo. Also, Charlie Ward started for years on pretty good Knicks teams!
