I knew when we got him that Donovan was far from the QB he was with the eagles and when he was in his prime, but i honestly didn't envision DM playing so poorly here.

It can be blamed on alot of factors, but the one that most people seem to be missing is that McNabb has had his best day. People are still in denial thinking he can be good here, but most of the signs point to DM being like every other aging star QB. That is, his play suffers slight, but noticible decline, and regresses to the point that he is benched for a youngster...then retires if he cannot swallow his pride and continue in the NFL as a backup.
