Pacman was the best CB and he was taken, Rolle the second best........Rogers 3rd.........with Smoot gone, I'm surprised we didn't go DE but could be Coach Williams felt they were'nt that good to be selected at #9, so I'm kinda happy with Rogers :shrug:I kept hearing more and more negatives about WR Williams.....

Here's what one Draft Preview book said about Rogers:
VERY GOOD ATHLETIC ABILITY, Good closing speed and can make up for lost ground when he gets out of position . Pretty good route recognition. Best when the ball is in front of him in zone coverage. Physical in press coverage and will come up hard to support the run. physical tackler. will play hurt. NEGATIVES-inconsistent, confidence a question, not a great tackler. shows stiffness in hips and takes too many false steps on his plant and drive. doesnt get out of his breaks clearly. does not have great ball skills. needs to improve in man coverage. not a shutdown corner.......
