The deck is certainly stacked in his favor. Even if we draft a QB the lockout situation most likely means less reps for everyone. So he'll have a turnover prone QB in front of him and a rookie QB that won't have enough reps and grasp of the playbook to play for at least 8 weeks behind him. Even if we sign a free agent QB Beck will still have a years worth of practice in our system on whoever we bring in

True, we thought Colt Brennan would move up a spot when Shanahan came in. Instead, he was sent to the unemployment office...now going to play in the UFL.
