Mmm...maybe. But look, it's not like they don't have strong candidates, because they do. There are a couple of people out there the campaign was quite nervous about
: John Thune, John Huntsman, and maybe Mitch Daniels. The latter two still might run, but they don't seem to have the fire if you ask me. In time I could see Marco Rubio and loud mouth Chris Christie throwing their names in the hat, but they were just elected to office.
Truth is, they don't want none of Obama and his machine right now. Talk is cheap. If he's such a bad president put some skin in the game and let's find out. The economy will more than likely be in better shape than it is today and everything will be riding on that. Besides, Republicans have taken some very unpopular positions with regard to Medicare, Medicaid, and taxes. Harry Reid will make the Senate vote on Ryan's plan very soon and get the rest of the numbskulls on record for voting for the Ryan budget.
