The key to success depends on whether the rookies can compete given a fair chance. Otherwise, it's all a waste.

It's funny. I said that unless Mallet has the Pats or Jets line in front of him he won't be able to catch on quickly like other superstar rookie QB's. Either way I don't know how Mallet's career will turn out but I do feel that the Pats just got a third round pick that will net them a 1st or two 2's in the future. They will make him look good enough in preseason play and God forbid spot duty that Mallet will look like the second coming of.....someone.

Im loving it and to me it wasnt one player, but the overall philosophy of the FO with this draft. It was 360, different approach we have never seen here.

Not suprising but I wonder what the number was for the team with the most players still in the league? 25?

And most of this issue I feel is more coaching and development vs simply picking bad players. See this is the problem when you take BPA and they don't actually fit your scheme. Maybe we will start seeing a difference since MS clearly didn't pick BPA nor BPA at any position we had need for. Which is probably why half of us were scratching our heads on why certain players were picked.... because they fit the scheme better.
