I actually like the women's game because they are more team-oriented than the men. Look at the World Cup winners, Japan - I can't think of any men's team that is so team-oriented in their play. But it doesn't hurt if the women are hot, too.

To me, women's sports is like the CFL or Div. II basketball - Everything is a beat or two slower adn you don't have the amazing feats of athleticism that you get in the top men's games but there are some very athletic individuals and plays. For them, the real athleticism is, as you said, in the team work. I like watching women's sports from time to time and enjoy the emphasis on fundamentals. I have to admit, however, I can't think of too many "Holy crap - Did you see that?!?!", jaw dropping athletic feats in all the time I've watched them. MJ had more such highlights in one year than all I've seen in women's sports. With that said, good run USA. Well played, no shame in a losing a game like that. Better luck next time.
