I would think blocking stays pretty consistent from playbook to playbook. Outside of shifts, audibles and what not.

The zone scheme isn't hard to "learn" it is hard to perfect as a unit because it is a moving machine with multiple moving parts that have to synchronize their efforts. You have to have players with the proper skill set and some time together to develop the ubiquitous "chemistry".
