It goes without saying that we should draft a QB near the top of the draft, but I would prefer that the FO address WR through free agency.

Trent Williams is a bookmark for the Hogs.He is good and proved it against Demarcus Ware when he looked like a Pro Bowler against him. He is a keeper. But the other 4 positions on the OL need an upgrade sooner than later. A complete overhaul and keep a few of them for backups if needed.

I thought Shanahan did a good job in the draft even though the OL was not addressed. He found some talent. Good talent that we need. The picks were not wasted at least. The players he drafted for the most part can start on this team. It will take a few drafts to get this team back on track and the players Shanahan drafted were needed at some point. Maybe the OL talent pool didn't warrant a draft pick and was not as good as it needed to be. But this the upcoming draft have some talent on the OL and it needs to be taken care of. Although the OL was not addressed.

As soon as we start addressing the OL the sooner we get back to the playoffs. When you have some Hogs all the other positions get better too. The Qb has more time to throw. The RB will get more yards. The defense will not be on the field as long. Just ask Mark Rypien about the advantages of some Hogs. Time for the front office to stop playing fantasy football and find some Hogs immediately.

Shanahan gets a pass because he just got here and hasn't been the one wasting draft picks. He found some talent we will need in the past draft. But now he must put his attention and efforts on the OL. When he does we will be contenders again. We will need one more position taken care of after that to get back to the Superbowl. QB.

HOGS!!!
