Scud what you thing bout Urban going to OSU? My feelings is hey he's a man and a great coach he can do anything he wants. But in the back of my mind I just dont like how he left Florida, health issues, more time with family and less than 2 years later at another program? Doesnt sit right with me. I absolutely love what Urban Meyer did for our football program for the 6 years he was in Gainesville. 2 National Titles, 2 SEC Championships, a Heisman, Tim Tebow, BCS bowl games galore, top recruiting classes, a brand new state of the art facility... the list goes on. He was amazing for the University of Florida.

But he quit. Flat out. He said health, family, blah blah. I think the main reason is he realized that with Tebow and two titles in a 3 year span, he could never hit that ceiling again. He set the bar so high.

He said he needed to get away to be with family and take care of himself. He said he was going to take some "significant time" away from coaching. So right after he leaves Florida, he takes a job in Bristol, CT, 1000 miles away from his family. And then a year later he's right back in the coaching game?

This whole thing has soured me on Urban Meyer for sure. But Ohio State is going to own the Big 10 for as long as he's there.
