Re: Battlefield 3
I've been thinking about getting it Mechanix, but I don't really have the money or the time to play it right now. I'd rather save my money for the next upcoming releases I want, which include Hitman: Absolution, Far Cry 3, and GTA V, all of which are going to come out next year. You can still add me on PSN if you want though, my name is Mooby346 on there.

Re: Battlefield 3
my comp isnt strong enough to play it on the ultimate settings on the pc, so i had to either go ps3 or xbox. i defaulted to ps3 due to alot of youngsters on the 360. although, i am looking forward to skyrim and whatever the new fallout is going to be titled.

Re: Battlefield 3
Skyrim looks interesting, I've never been a fan of fantasy type games before but the open world gameplay aspect of it intrigues me. So does Batman: Arkham City but then again I've always been wary of games based on movies. And I'm also looking forward to the next Assassins Creed coming out, I've played the first 3 and the 2nd game is the only game I've ever played on the PS3 where I earned the platinum trophy for earning every trophy in the game.

My 360 bite the dust and i bought a new one but Iam giving it to my son on Xmas. I really have not missed it. Lately I have struggled to find the teenage gamer in me. I fear I may have outgrown video games.

Yeah man I'm really over the gaming aspect as of right now, I was hardcore in to COD and madden but not playing in 2 months has allowed me more HW time and basketball time. Not really too worried about it

Re: Battlefield 3
It's all relative. I don't buy a ton of games, but the ones I do buy I get plenty of mileage out of. $60 for a year or two worth of entertainment isn't too shabby. You can spend that and then some on a dinner or some drinks out on the town.

Re: Battlefield 3
I just bought BF3 and AC:Revelations for 30 and 35 each on Black Friday. Haven't tried out BF3 yet because I'm playing AC:R right now. I think AC is getting a little old, they keep putting a new one out each year with not many changes.

I agree and I don't think video games have increased in price in like the past 15 years, they use to always be $50. Plus just buy them used I think the Batman game now is like $30 and it has been out for like a month and a half. Also you know it is a bad economy when they actually discount games, there was a time when games never went on sale, am talking new and recently released games. My point was more to there was a time when if I got anew hot game the sun and moon would rise and fall outside and I have no idea, I was blinded with game play. Now a days if I play it is a hour max and when I am playing I am like I could be getting this done or that done. Also Idon't drin kand play once I have had a few forget it, it hurts to much to think that much when drinking.
