Both Bradford and McCoy have major issues holding onto the ball while in the pocket, but if I had to choose one over the other and put him behind the Redskins offensive line, it would be Sam Bradford.
Colt McCoy is 6'1" and Sam Bradford is 6'4", that would be a huge difference playing in the NFC East where you'd face some of the more prolific pass rushers twice a year. Rex at 6'1" has also had his share of batted down passes playing in the NFC East And if I'm not mistaken, McNabb at 6'2" had some issues with getting balls batted down during his time here. Looking at their respective stat lines over the first two years, the amount of time they've turned the ball over, their QB rating are nearly the same, both play for horrible teams, it's just really difficult to say who's definitively a "project" and who isn't. So I'd go with the guy more physically promising, a year younger, and has shown some flashes of being a quality NFL quarterback. |
