Or Shanahan and Bruce Allen can sign Matt Flynn in free agency and keep all of their draft picks. They can use their picks to stockpile like they did during last April's draft, or just stay put in each round and draft out according to team needs.

I like the idea of grabbing Flynn and trading back for more picks. Even with Flynn, I wouldn't rule out grabbing another QB in the draft, even in the early rounds. Going into next year with Flynn, Grossman and a rookie QB drafted in the first or second round sounds good to me.
