If you're talking about a guy that can win playoff games and lead the team to a Super Bowl then yes it will take him a few years to develop. If you're talking about a guy that can contribute heavily in winning games the team wouldn't otherwise win and improving the production on offense then I say the developmental time would be minimal.

I'm talking about a guy who will deliver my pizza on time instead of halfway through the 2nd qtr after telling me it would take 20 mins. F***ing bastard!
