I would address Safety but would aim at the draft and seek a long term solution to one of the safety spots.
If we did address Safety through FA hopefully the target will be a young safety with the potential to prove himself as a starter.

This baffles me.. So a 32 year old Moss coming off of his worst season, a 31 year old Gaffney coming off his best season (and not likely to improve on it), Armstrong whose production was non existent, Stallworth who was released mid-season, Paul who was targeted a total of 5 times in 16 games and Hankerson who couldn't get on the active roster until Week 9 and then was lost to a season ending injury doesn't represent 'that big of a need'?

I think Hankerson will be fine and a starter.. Paul is likely more a ST player than a legitimate WR prospect.. Other than that, where's the optimism coming from about our current WR group? Outside of QB, this is our worst offensive unit and needs the most attention.
