I wouldn't say the Redskins are ignoring fans in Maryland and/or ceding the state to the Ravens but I have heard their focus is to really target fans in DC, Virginia, West Virginia, and even North Carolina (strong Gibbs influence and still a lot of fans from the pre-Panthers days). FedEx is what it is right now, they'll be there for a while.

For those of us who would rather not pay that steep price for NFL Sunday ticket who live or will be living in North Carolina, I'd love more than anything for the 'skins to market themselves more in NC and possibly have more of their games played down there. It's said that where I'm moving from, I can catch every single Redskins game on TV, but just 40 minutes down the road, that's not the case!
