About to post this in the Ced Griffin thread but:
The Montgomery restructure and Griffin deal create a net cap difference of virtually zero. If you want the math, it's: cap = 6.5 million - 2.5 mil (player salary) + 390k (r51) + 2.06 (Monty restructure) = 6.45 million That 6.5 was a rough estimate, but the work shows how today the Redskins didn't change their cap position in 2012 (and only slightly in 2013).
