Taylor's father is a police chief in Florida City, FL (south of Miami) but I don't know how much of a relationship they have.. The article posted recently seemed like his mother and grandmother were his primary parental influences. I seem to recall reading that his parents were divorced or split up (if never married) shortly after his birth. Taylor says that his mother and his father were always there for him whenever he needed them, his father made him do well at school and he lived with his father at times which was only two miles from this incident
