Re: Gibbs, Redskins figure to struggle again

Now, see, I disagree SC! I think our D will be just as great with G. Williams, and it did not play over it's head last year. He finally made them see their way to living up to their potential! I agree that our O will be better, and that injuries are indeed a factor. Because I disagree, doesn't make either of us retards! I generally do not read the other outside threads posted, unless it looks good for us. If the comments about the writer are not good, don't waste your time! I don't! There will be hundreds more articles written about the upcoming season very soon, both during, and after TC! Note to JacobyFan: Just where do you get one of those "Shoot to the Sun Thingies"? See, I've got this lazy, retarded son-in-law.................................

Re: Gibbs, Redskins figure to struggle again
I think it's a stretch to call Arrington injury prone. Yes he had an injury that kept him out of the majority of last season, and yes he gets banged up. But show me any NFL player that doesn't have a laundry list of bumps and bruises throughout a typical NFL season. I guess that means anybody who has missed any significant time in the league can be called injury prone.
The only problem I have with this article is the way it seems the author takes any route to take jabs at the Skins. He says the game has passed Gibbs by, and then turns around and blasts him for trying to adjust and make changes by saying he's in panic mode. Gibbs is in a no-win situation with this guy I guess. Just not a very objective article in my opinion, but that seems to be the norm nowadays especially with the mainstream media. Whatever happened to objectivity anyway? I guess that's a rant for another day. |
