But the difference between winning and losing came down to the play at the QB position. Rex Grossman and John Beck were both a serious downgrade from Donovan McNabb. This is why I firmly believe RG3 can succeed as a rookie quarterback. Who would have though that the 49ers who finished 6-10 in 2010 would compete for an NFC title a year later? Unlikely things can happen in professional football. We'll just have to wait and see how good this Redskin team truly is.
