I thought it being connected with the 2012 Olympics except wasn't it a bit of a surprise that London got the games? Unless they had attacks planned at all of the finalist cities and then decided they would make the official attack on whatever city was selected.
Or this could be connected to the G8 Summit. Or it could just be a random attack
