That ship is 44 years old and still going strong.
Unfortunately a lot of Coast Guard ships will show their rust easily because they are painted white.
This one is based in Charleston NC and is doing drug interdiction indefinitely in the Caribbean so I'm not surprised it looks a little tired.
Congress needs to replace the 378 footers asap.
