Just a thought:
Stop idolizing athletes above their contribution to the sport. If they contribute to charities, great, enjoy the tax write-off. Then get back on the field. Fans will cheer you when you rock the B&G then forget you when you start to fade or demand you be cut (ex: Clinton Portis, Doug Williams, etc.) I'm a grown man. No need for heroes....or autographs.
